Who we are
Getshure started with a simple frustration. Most people only hear two stories about AI. Either it is cool and the future, or it is scary and abstract. Almost nobody gets a clear picture of how the machine can quietly sit on a phone, read messages, calls, and photos, and then how that power gets used to open credit, steal identity, and wreck privacy for real households.
We are not Big Tech. We are not a Silicon Valley lab with a trust us logo. We do not sell your data to anyone. We are a small publisher that pays for print runs ourselves, writes in plain English, and tries to put that picture into as many American homes as we can.
Our readers are parents, grandparents, nurses, construction workers, teachers, and anyone with a phone full of banking, private messages, and photos of the kids. People who never asked for a briefing from the tech industry, and who still deserve to know what is happening to their private life.
What we publish
We write hardcovers you can leave on a kitchen counter. Short enough to finish in a weekend. Clear enough that a 74 year old and a teenager can read the same chapters and talk about them afterward. No jargon wall. No panic for clicks. No pretend that turning off one notification fixes the whole problem.
The free mission book, Don’t Get Screwed by AI, walks through how the machine watches private life, how that power gets used to screw people financially, why this is more dangerous than old identity theft, and what normal people can do without becoming tech experts.
Why some copies are free
We want the playbook in as many homes as possible before someone gets hit. Printing paper books costs real money. So when the budget allows, we run a limited free print. While that stock lasts, the hardcover is $0 and you only pay shipping. When that stock runs out, the same book goes back to its normal $29 price on our store, like our other titles.
That is not a trick. It is how a small publisher stretches a mission print. Paid sales help fund the next free batch so more families can get it again. Every free copy that leaves our warehouse is a bet that one more household will see the risk in time.
How we stay alive
We pay for print runs ourselves. Reader donations help a lot. Without them, free prints would be smaller, rarer, and slower. Donations cover printing, packing, shipping research, and the simple fact that a tiny independent publisher has bills too.

What we will never be
We will not sell your email list to AI companies. We will not hide an auto renewing membership inside a free book. We will not write like we are trying to impress engineers. We write for the person who still has to live with a phone in their pocket tomorrow morning.
